Leicester Forest East Neighbourhood WatchHello and welcome to Leicester Forest East Neighbourhood Watch. Leicester Forest East Neighbourhood Watch is in quite a fortunate position, because we are able to start almost from scratch. There are some small existing Neighbourhood Watch schemes covering areas such as one or two streets, and occasionally some Neighbourhood Watch signs, but largely, Leicester Forest East residents did not have access to Neighbourhood Watch. This means that residents can really shape what Neighbourhood Watch does and how it operates. It is our intention that LFE Neighbourhood Watch will become so much more than just a crime prevention scheme; we hope that ultimately Neighbourhood Watch will be an important part of life in LFE, and will help create a sense of community and village identity for Leicester Forest East, especially since we have recently been awarded village status. Being involved in Neighbourhood Watch does not have to be time consuming. Your role could be as simple as keeping an eye out for your neighbours, reading the newsletter and attending the occasional meeting. Although, should you wish, you could become much more involved, and perhaps even become a local co-ordinator for your area of the Parish. Your level of involvement will be entirely up to you and you will never be pressurised into anything you don't want to do. Please browse through the documents below and do not hesitate to contact the parish office should you need any more information. Membership FormIf you would like to join LFE Neighbourhood Watch, please fill out the membership form and return it to LFE NHW, LFE Parish Council, 23 Seymour Way, LFE, LE3 3LY, or email it to lfeneighbourhoodwatch@googlemail.com. Your details will never be sold or shared with anyone outside of Neighbourhood Watch
LFE Neighbourhood Watch Incident Report FormIf you witness a crime or an incidence of anti-social behaviour, you should report it to the police and, if applicable, the anti-social behaviour team at Blaby District Council. (Ask for Steve Parker or Sandra Wooding on 0116 2750555). You should also report it to the Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator using this form to make sure that your neighbours are aware of the situation and able to take any necessary action. Having a record of incidents in the Parish will also help us liaise with the police and the anti-social behaviour team to ensure that all reported incidents are followed up.
